Axe throwing and campfire experiences at Fat Squirrel Outdoor are perfect for groups of family, friends or colleagues to enjoy together in beautiful rural woodland locations. 

Each experience is hosted by a friendly member of the Fat Squirrel Outdoor team who will lead your axe throwing and cook you campfire meal. 

Friendly competitive outdoor axe throwing  

Your host will give guidance on how to throw axes before leading your group through a range of games and challenges - all designed to be fun. Even the weaker throwers have a chance to steal a game with one throw. 

Enjoy real sausage hot dogs together around the campfire 

Gather around the campfire to enjoy jumbo hot dogs made from award-winning real sausages (with a vegan alternative available). Your host will cook your sausages for you while you enjoy some fireside chatter or go and explore the woodland. Not many can resist the allure of getting really close to the fire to toast marshmallows to make yummy s'mores that melt in your mouth.

A great way to share time outdoors with family and friends in all seasons. No matter the time of year, we've got rustic shelters that'll keep you snug and dry, ensuring you can enjoy the magic of the woods in comfort.

This is an experience tailor-made for family and friend get-togethers, unforgettable hen and stag do's, birthday celebrations that will be talked about for years, and anniversaries that deserve a touch of wilderness magic.

• An all inclusive experience for a group of 6 to 24 people  
• Under 3’s are free
• 2 - 3 hour woodland experience hosted by a Fat Squirrel Outdoor team member   
• Typical start time 11 am or 7pm
• Axe throwing with games and challenges (min age 8)
• Fire cooked large real sausage hotdogs (vegan option available)
• Marshmallow toasting to make yummy s’mores 
• Hot drinks - tea, coffee, hot chocolate 

• Waterproof jackets
• Blankets 
• Hats and gloves
• Layer up your clothing - you may get muddy
• Torches for evening campfires 
• Sturdy boots or wellies are best (no sandals for axe throwing)
• Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome
