Sticks and S'mores

 In a world dominated by screens, it's never been more important to simply be together outdoors. Away from notifications and noise, the green of the trees and the flickering of a campfire have a way of slowing everything down. Our bushcraft style experiences are designed to keep everyone engaged and active, while gently shedding the weight of modern life. 

A Fat Squirrel Outdoor team member will host your whole session, teaching everyone how to light a campfire using a flint and steel. With time to explore the woods, hang out in hammocks and build dens before sitting around the campfire to enjoy real sausage hot dogs and marshmallow s'mores. 

We warmly welcome families with SEND. Our woodland experiences are naturally calm and unhurried — the only sounds you'll hear are birdsong and the crackle of the fire.

We want to be open with you about our setting: our spaces are unfenced and open to the wider countryside, so they are not suitable for children who need a secure, enclosed environment. Our toilet facilities are simple camping-style, with bowls for handwashing rather than running water

Sturdy boots or wellies are best

No sandals for axes

Hats and gloves or sun hats and cream 

Layer up in the winter - this is a fully outdoor experience

Waterproof jackets all year round 

 Well behaved dogs on a lead welcome (except Asthall Manor)

Add axe throwing for £65 per group

Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult 

Axe throwers must be aged 8
