Have fun throwing axes in beautiful rural locations. Throwing outdoors has an added sense of adventure with the sounds of nature all around. 

Lightweight axes 

At Fat Squirrel Outdoor our throwing axes are lightweight making them easy for most people to throw.  

Coached sessions 

A Fat Squirrel Outdoor team member will host your whole session, guiding your technique to get the best throws and hosting games and challenges that will keep everyone involved and having fun. We can't guarantee you will hit the target every time but our games are designed to give everyone a chance to win. 

Satisfying experience   

Being outdoors its a great tension reliever that is uniquely mediative and exciting at the same time. The sound of the axes hitting the targets is extremely satisfying. 

Extend your woodland visit 

To stay with us longer in the woods and to enjoy a real sausages hot dog cooked on a campfire book  our axe throwing and campfire experience. 

• 1 hour of axe throwing (sessions for larger groups will last longer)
• Whole session hosted by an experienced Fat Squirrel Outdoor instructor 
• Throwers must be aged 8 and over 
• Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult 
• Under 3’s are free
• No open footwear - sturdy boots are best
• Layer up and bring waterproofs 
• Dogs welcome
