Fire cooked food, eaten in the woods, is a group dining experience not to be missed. A campfire taps into something primal within us, bringing people together. Cooking together deepens the experience further. 

Learn to light the fire

Your experience starts with some bushcraft style fire lighting - an activity that will definitely ignite sparks of conversation. Fat Squirrel hosts will guide your team on how to build and set a fire for cooking.      

Locally sourced seasonal menu 

The seasonal menu can be tailored to suit all dietary requirements and has been created by our outdoor cooking specialist to get maximum flavour from the fire. When you add a splash of our own Fat Squirrel Outdoor sauce your team will have a super tasty and satisfying fire cooked meal to enjoy. 

This experience lasts around 3 hours

 Typically this experience starts at 11am for day time session and 7pm for evening sessions. Email us if you require different times.

Arrive a colleagues - leave as friends

  In the words of an earlier guest - you arrive as colleagues and after toasting marshmallow you leave as friends.  

Fully hosted activities 

Fat Squirrel Outdoor hosts will get your group having fun throwing axes and for larger groups we also offer woodland skittles. Our hosts are experienced at making sure everyone joins in and has fun. 

Time to relax around the campfire 

Sit around the fire after your axe throwing and enjoy large real sausage hot dogs (vegan and GF options available) around the campfire. And, of course there will be marshmallow toasting.

  Axe throwing is an outdoor activity that most people can take part in - not matter how outdoorsy they are.

At Fat Squirrel we don't just show you how to throw and leave you to it - we host the whole experience to make sure that everyone has fun. Our games are made up of challenges designed to keep everyone engaged.   

Beautiful locations  

All Fat Squirrel Outdoor axe targets are set within beautiful outdoor woodland locations - making the whole throwing experience completely different to indoor targets. 

This experience lasts 60-90 minutes 

Allow at least an hour for your experience - the bigger the group the longer the experience.
