Kids and parents will both love campfire birthday parties held outdoors in the woods. For kids its a great adventure, for parents its a calmer way to manage a celebration for lots of kids. Sit around a fire and enjoy the woodland while our experienced instructors host your child's party.
Choose from a range of activities suitable for children aged 4 to 12.
Each party lasts 2 hours and includes activities followed by hot dogs and marshmallow s'mores around a campfire.

Axe throwing is a fun and adventurous activity that most people will love - it certainly gets people talking. Fat Squirrel throwing axes are comfortable for all ages (over 8) to throw with ease. Once everyone has released their inner warrior sit around the campfire and let the conversation flow.
Get friends, family or work colleagues together for this relaxed catch-up.
Our axe and campfire experiences last a few hours and include a camp style meal. We have day time and evening sessions available.
The minimum booking is for 10 guests, but you can have up to 50 guests.

Keep your kids active in the woods this summer. At Fat Squirrel Outdoor learning new skills is fun and engaging. We will get kids making, creating and cooking. Each session will include a bushcraft activity, a fun science based activity and an outdoor cooking class - best of all they will cook dinner for you too.

We are in a woodland just outside Witney in Oxfordshire. You will find us opposite North Leigh Football Club, on the A4095 between Witney and Long Hanborough.
How to book
Agreement on the basis these terms and conditions arise upon the fulfillment of all the following:
· a completed web booking
· clearance of the payment
Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd reserves the right, in its absolute discretion and without the need to give reasons, to refuse to accept a booking. In such circumstances no agreement arises and the Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd will return any payment accompanying the booking.
The agreement is between the Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd and the client(s) and is the sole agreement between the two parties. No variation of these terms and conditions shall be applicable unless agreed in writing by the Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd at the time of the booking.
The agreement is governed by English Law.
Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd reserve the right to update its Terms & Conditions at any time, without notice to client(s).
Bookings must be made and paid for via the website and you must have a booking confirmed before attending the woodland to help us manage social distancing. We do not accept any payment for entry at the gate.
A confirmed booking will reserve your group a defined Woodland area for your group to be hosted from for the booked experience. You cannot bring more people than your booking allows and reserve the right to refuse entry for any group larger.
If you need to change dates email us at email@example.com and we will do our best to offer you an alternative date.
If you need to cancel up to 48 hours before your allotted session, we will refund the fee you paid minus a 20% administration charge. We cannot accept cancellations within 48 hours of your booked event.
If Government advice requires that we cannot host your booked session then an alternative future date will be offered.
Woodland activities by their very nature are exposed to natural variables, including the weather. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to fulfill your booked session there may be occasions when the Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd, through no fault of its own, is forced to vary, modify or cancel booked sessions at short notice because of natural circumstances. The client (s) acknowledges that information about the activities provided by Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd is given in the best faith but because of the variability of nature and the weather, it may be reasonable to alter, modify or cancel a booked session and in such circumstances, it is not reasonable for Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd to be liable for any losses consequential on such a change. Therefore, the Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd liability is limited accordingly.
The client(s) acknowledges that persons attending Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd courses and / or party are entitled to expect a high standard of conduct and regard for personal well-being on the part of all client(s).
For this reason, the client(s) accepts that Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd may, in absolute discretion and without the need to give reasons, arrange for him/her to be removed from a booked session, if necessary, against his / her will. Circumstances in which this might occur include (without limitation) disorderly or abusive conduct, intoxication, failure of control over children, inadequacy of clothing or equipment, incapacity or inability to meet the rigours of the course and / or party. In some circumstances the client(s) will not be entitled to a refund of monies and Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd will not be liable for any losses so resulting. The client(s) will on demand reimburse Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd its reasonable costs of affecting his/her removal.
The Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd activity sessions, courses and / or parties take place in woodland and open countryside and are by their very nature not free from hazard. Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd makes every effort to minimise risk to clients and instructs clients in the safe negotiation of such risk as may remain. Consequently, the client(s) acknowledges that there are circumstances in which an accident could befall a client without Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd being at fault and accepts that to that extent he/she is taking part in a course and / or party run by Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd at his / her own risk.
Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd only accepts liability for physical injury to a client(s) where it is shown to result from negligence on the part of the Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd.
The client(s) acknowledges that loss, damage and expense (including without limitation, loss of money, loss of damage to clothes and possessions, losses arising on the cancellation of a booking and the expense of delay and the harm caused other than negligence of Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd), however arising is not the responsibility of Fat Squirrel Outdoor Ltd and that the Fat Squirrel Outdoor Company Ltd liability is hereby limited.
The client(s) is solely responsible, where necessary, for ensuring that he / she has all necessary valid travel documents.
We welcome well behaved dogs, however aggressive or nervous dogs are not allowed on sit eat any time. An aggressive dog is defined as a dog posing a threat to humans or other dogs.
All dogs must be under the owner's control at all times, which means they must remain on a lead and held or securely tied at all times.
Dogs must be on a lead when entering and exiting the woodland and owners/handlers may only bring the number of dogs into the woodland that they can adequately control.
Dog owners/handlers must keep their dogs in their view at all times and they must not be left unattended. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and should not be left in charge of a dog.
Owners/handlers are responsible for their dogs and any injuries and/or damages caused by their dogs.
Dog owners/handlers must immediately fill in any holes their dogs dig.
Chasing or running with the dogs on a lead is not all allowed.
